Ivan’s career really took off at the age of 15, when he won the Concerto Competition of the Artists in Croatia. He then went on to performance throughout Croatia with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2006 he earned a degree in piano performance at the University of Dayton. Leko also earned a Master’s degree in piano performance from Brandon University. He also performed in various halls across Canada - Vancouver, Ottawa and Winnipeg - and the United States - Washington D.C., Orlando, Dayton - as well as Frankfurt and Wuppertal in Europe.
Other orchestras Ivan has performed with include: various symphony orchestras; Rijeka Philharmonic Orchestra; and Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
